SPECIALIZATION IN MANAGEMENT – MAINTENANCE OF ECCLESIASTICAL RELICS

The course objective is to help trainees develop skills in managing and maintaining ecclesiastical relics. Knowledge acquisition is both theoretical and practical. To this end, they acquire knowledge in searching and integrating ecclesiastical relics into their historical and religious context, while learning about the importance of proper management and maintenance of these treasures of spiritual and artistic orthodox creation. Besides, they develop deep understanding about the factors and causes of corrosion of these works of arts along with diagnosing problems through physic-chemical methods.
